BLOOD ON BENEFITS

Blood on Benefits is a 13 minute suspenseful drama presentation from 1st time director Andrew-Lee Potts. A man wake’s in a foreign white room to find himself bleeding & bound to its walls with wire. His vision rest’s on a dark figure opposite him & two mysterious clear boxes. One full of holly water & a vile of blood. The other a forest of barbed wire, with hundred’s of tiny crucifix’s attached.

This surreal hostage situation soon has him fighting for his life and his sanity as his only source of freedom lies in those boxes. Not to mention the ticking time bomb of the rising sun. Who is he? Is he a vampire? Does he survive? Dose he want to? Follow the light and you will see.

The cast is made up of various up and coming actors through out London. A cast list is provided. It is shot on film and produced to the highest standard. The idea is that this stands alone as a short film. But it is part of a much bigger story called ‘Blood on Benefits’. This presentation will showcase the cast, tone and feeling conceptualized by the Writer and Director of the feature film. It is meant to give the audience an understanding of what’s to come. Blood on Benefits depicts a real fantastical, present time, vampire story of love and revenge, set in a council estate on the outskirts of London. See if you can step outside the box
